Nolença solid perfume, alcohol-free and made in Grasse

Solid perfume is an alternative to spray perfume: the fragrance is set in a balm made from vegetable oils and shea butter, which is applied with a fingertip. Alcohol-free, it doesn't sting or evaporate quickly—it settles closer to the skin, for a more subtle and longer-lasting scent trail.

Our single-note fragrances are formulated and packaged in France. They contain between 95% and 98% natural ingredients, in a recyclable glass jar that fits in your pocket. Each can be worn alone, or over a Nolença eau de parfum to create your own unique blend.

How to use solid perfume?

Open the jar, take a small amount of balm with your fingertip: the warmth of your skin is enough to melt it. Apply it to pulse points — wrists, neck, behind the ears. You can repeat as many times as you wish throughout the day.

How long does solid perfume last?

The sillage of a solid perfume is closer to the skin than that of an eau de parfum, and it reactivates with body heat. As it is applied in very small amounts, one jar will last you several months of daily use.

What's the difference with an eau de parfum?

Eau de parfum is alcohol-based: it is sprayed and diffuses into the air. Solid perfume is an alcohol-free balm: it is applied directly to the skin, does not sting, and is worn more intimately. The two layer very well together – that's the principle of our Mix & Match.

Are your solid perfumes natural?

Yes: 95% to 98% naturally derived ingredients depending on the fragrance, with shea butter. BHT-free, phthalate-free, UV filter-free, and dye-free, not tested on animals, in a recyclable glass jar.
